Some good news.....
I have invited to perform at the Catch Seafood restaurant with Organized Time, an Atlanta based organ trio and Kayla Taylor, a very talented vocalist.
Also, I found out that I'll be going to Hilton Head Island, SC in May of this year. Details coming soon.......

Long time
It has been a while since I posted in this blog. A lot has happened:
1. I have been writng more music and decided that I want to focus more on writing that performing (even though I still want to play)
2. My daughter was born on 11-16-2007 (8lbs, 9oz)
3. Even though I like my current teaching situation, I know that I don't want to be here permanently (I want to teach jazz, saxophone or theory) even though my job is 5-10 minutes from my home
4. I have a CD that is real close to completion
5.I am gigging two times a week
6. I have started my private woodwind studio again and I have 3 great students
7. I am looking to study composition privately next school year and plan on to pursue a MM and DMA(PhD) in Music Composition
For a lot of the things I desire to happen, I may have to quit teaching full time. The problem is the amount of debt my wife and I have. If debt was not a problem, she would be cool. We a really fortunate that her mother watches our daughter during the day for very, very cheap. Day care would not be a problem. Hopefully, I can add more students, keep gigging an average of 2-3 a week, and our business that my wife and I have will continue to grow.
