Job update

As far as I know, I have not been cut from my position in public school or at the college. I hope to be teaching in public school for no more than a year. The plan is to start doctoral study in music again. I don't know in what..maybe theory or education. Another jazz degree would be pointless for me. Maybe education. I'm not sure yet. I know that I'm ready for a change in direction. The budget cuts may end up providing that change in direction. I know that I have a wife and two kids to take care of and I need some money.

In a rut, pt. 2

Earlier I had wrote that I was in a rut...when I would sit down to practice or write, I didn't like anything that was going on. I guess I'm starting to get out of that rut. I've written a few things and some of my practice times have been productive. I will be posting on various sites soon. Take care
